There’s no place for acting in sports!

As you can see from my excitement over the Olympics, I like sports.  There are some sports that I have a difficult time watching though, like soccer.  OMG.  I watched the Eurocup final last Sunday and was totally ticked at the acting that was going on…JUST PLAY THE GAME ALREADY!  I believe they do it to get a break…not sure, but wouldn’t you with all that freakin’ running?

Acting happens in basketball, as well.  I guess if the player gets rewarded with whatever foul or call they were trying to get, then it’s the thing to do and overacting is the fault of the referees.  Some players though are really awkward and should realize an Oscar is never in their future. In fact, they should get charged with delay of game or something for making us watch it.

In honor of this post, enjoy these hilarious basketball pics:

  1. Oh boy, lol!!!! The last two are so good!! Swish! What ticks me off about sports figures are the ludicrous salaries and contracts they sign. Recently, Minnesota Wild signed two guys up and they both got a ten MILLION dollar signing bonus. Ummmm WHAT? That is disgusting. Meanwhile, the average Joe and his wife over here continue to struggle to pay the bills. Sorry for the rant…

    1. No, no…rant ANYTIME around here! And since I completely agree with said rant…well, RANT ON JOHN! :)

  8. I hate soccer. There, I said it.

    1. LOL Bill, the first step is admitting…haha, I hate it too. We should form a club…….

      1. We should. I also hate the flopping. I want to run onto the field and just break those little guys.

        1. Ohhh, it’s called “flopping”? Makes so much sense. The Mom in me wants to run out there, jerk ‘em up by the collar, and make them take a “time-out” for five full minutes. That’ll teach’em! haha

  9. I just love your quips and sense of humour! Thanks for the giggle!

    1. You’re so sweet! Thank you for boosting my ego today and for “getting” me! :)
