I think the cauldron was spectacular. The only thing that spoilt it for me was having Paul McCartney singing at the end. As soon as he came on, I turned over. I’m sure they could have found someone else who was typically British, and not someone who should have retired when Noah left the Ark. There again, I’ve never been a great fan of the the Beatles anyway.
Lol, I didn’t really watch the ceremony, but probably would have turned it off at Paul McCartney too…I like him, but agree with you that he is past his prime. Guess they could have gone with Lady GaGa. LOL, isn’t she british? And honestly, the part I did see kinda freaked me out…that big baby? The one at the end of the Mary Poppins skit? Weird! Either way, the games are sure to be exciting and I wish your team well!!
