The first step is admitting you have a problem. For the past couple of days I’ve been conducting research on finding the ultimate “reasonably priced” coffee maker. Is it too much to ask? Maybe. For over a year I’ve been tolerating a Cuisinart.
Well, I’m tired of waking up to a counter flood. I have tolerated the cleaning of seven different parts each pot, the lukewarm coffee, and the occasional flooding for too long. And please, don’t tell me about the unclogging of specific areas of this machine, I’ve covered them all…to no avail.
The research actually has me depressed a bit. Is it too much to ask for a machine to have a large pot (at least twelve cups), an internal grinder (I’d even settle for the blade “loud” type), AND a thermal pot?? Oh, and did I mention that I’d really like for that machine to cost LESS THAN $300??
I know, I know…I’m picky. Whatever! These are hard earned dollars I’m trying to spend and as a monthly coffee bean club member, yes…I want a good cup o’Joe.
So, after reading review upon review and trying to decipher which to try…I’ve settled on this:
PLEASE GIVE ME GOOD NEWS…you have this? It works….PERFECTLY??
I settled for the ol’ glass pot. If the coffee doesn’t stay to my liking temperature-wise, I’ll buy a thermal carafe. I just need a good cup of java to get me going in the morning. Coffee snob or not, I NEED IT!!!
Happy Bloggin’ ya’ll.
