End of Day Nine…
I believe I may have missed a day…it was probably a day full of track and field heats. As my patience wore thin with Statistics this weekend, I have to admit I fast forwarded through an entire 5 hour recording of qualifying heats, touching interviews, and clever commercials. As I did, I noticed there was an awful long interview with Michael Phelps. I’m sure it was great, but honestly, I could not bear to sit through another recount of the wonderful things he has accomplished. No offense Michael, but I get it already.
And GB? Wow, you’ve had a terrific weekend. Some awesome things happended for you on the track, in the gym, and on the tennis court……eh? Congrats!
And would you lookie here………China still has the lead in the medal count……..must have been that men’s gymnastics floor routine. Sure was a good one.
Happy Bloggin’ Ya’ll!
End of Day Four…
Much better Olympic day for the USA!! The women’s gymnastics was just…well, spectacular, so huge congratulations to them especially after such an emotional ride on Sunday. True testament to the professionalism and determination these little tiny girls have for their sport and their country!!
And then let’s talk about Michael Phelps…yes, HE DID IT! Michael has now won more medals than ANYONE in the history of the Olympic Games. Congrats Mr. Phelps!
Another great day of competition over…see you tomorrow all and thanks for keeping up with me. Here’s the medal count:
